Called in to the Indian squad as the replacement for Sachin Tendulkar, Subramaniam Badrinath feels that it is an honour for him to replace the Master Blaster in the Indian line-up for the ongoing ODI series in England.

"Second time ....been called up to replace the greatest batsman in the world....it's such a honour...!!!!", Badrinath tweeted in the early hours of Monday.

Team India has been shaken by as many as eight injuries on the England tour and have been forced to rely on replacements to sail the ship through.

The Indian team plays its second One Day International at Southampton on Tuesday after the first one was abandoned due to rain.
