London:
Indian vice-captain Gautam Gambhir will be fit to bat against England at The Oval on Sunday after recovering from the mild concussion he sustained while dropping a catch on Friday.
Gambhir hit his head on the ground on Friday when he dropped Kevin Pietersen, who went on to make 175 in a 350-run partnership with Ian Bell.
Gambhir did not field or bat on Saturday's third day and was replaced in the field by Virat Kholi.
Team manager Anirudh Chaudhry said Gambhir had a "precautionary scan."
The batsman is now available to bolster a lineup that slumped to 103-5 in reply to England's 591-6 declared.
