India beat England by 20 runs in their second warm-up tie of the ICC World Twenty20 at Mirpur (Scorecard)
09.56 (IST): It's all over! India have beaten England by 20 runs in the warm-up tie at Mirpur. England finish on 158/6 in 20 overs. Virat Kohli (74 not out) and Suresh Raina (54) laid the platform for a good total and the Indian bowlers did well to restrict England.
09.50 (IST): OUT! Ravi Bopara swings and misses. He is bowled by Mohammad Shami for 6. England 145/5 in 18.2 overs.
09.46 (IST): England reach 141/4 in 18 overs , need 38 runs to win from 12 balls. Mohammad Shami is back into the attack.
09.41 (IST): Ravindra Jadeja gets Moeen Ali! What a crucial wicket, this! The left-handed batsman came down the wicket and tried to clear the deep mid-wicket fence but Ajinkya Rahane took a good running catch to end his stay at the wicket. England 128/4 in 17 overs, need 51 runs to win from 18 balls.
09.35 (IST): The asking rate has climbed but Moeen Ali hasn't given up. He gets a four and a six off two balls off Suresh Raina. England 111/3 in 15.2 overs.
09.25 (IST): BIG, BIG WICKET for India! Eoin Morgan (16) is gone, caught by Yuvraj Singh at long on. England 87/3 in 13.1 overs.
09.20 (IST): England reach 76/2 in 12 overs with Moeen Ali (12) and Eoin Morgan (16) in the middle, need 103 to win from 48 balls.

09.02 (IST): OUT! Alex Hales is clean bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Hales was looking to make room and hit it through the off-side but failed to connect and the ball struck the stumps. England 43/1 in 5 overs.
08.58 (IST): England have started well in their run chase of 179 against India here. Michael Lumb (20) and Alex Hales (12) have looked comfortable against the Indian pace duo of Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar so far. England 32/0 in 4 overs.
08.30 (IST): 4,4,2,2,4,1 - Virat Kohli picks up 17 runs off the final over as India reach 178/4 in 20 overs. Kohli's unbeaten 74 (48) and Suresh Raina's 54 (31) laid the foundation for Indian innings after England picked up three early wickets of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Yuvraj Singh.
08.22 (IST): Fifty for Virat Kohli! He gets there with a gorgeous six over cover and has taken just 38 balls to get there. India 153/4 in 18 overs.

08.11 (IST): Suresh Raina goes! He reached his half-century with two fours and a six in three balls from Ravi Bopara but went for one shot too many and was caught at deep mid-wicket by Chris Jordan for 54 off 31 balls. India 120/4 in 14.4 overs.

07.22 (IST): OUT! England claim both Indian openers cheaply! Dhawan is gone now! He departs for 14 after hitting the ball straight to Alex Hales off Tim Brensnan. India 30/2 in 4.3 overs.

06.34 (IST): Indian skipper MS Dhoni said at the toss that he was looking to bat first since they bowled first in the previous warm-up game and was looking to get the max out of the warm-up match. He also felt it would be a lot easier to bat on today.
06.30 (IST): England win toss, elect to field vs India at Mirpur.

Their already low morale further dented, a listless India would be desperate for a win when they take on England in their second and final warm-up game in the ICC World Twenty20 Championships here on Wednesday.
India will be playing their first group league match against Pakistan on Friday and a win against England is a necessity considering the team's continuing poor run. (Also read: Pak media puts team ahead of India)

Although they didn't set the stage on fire, the two comeback men Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh had a decent outing with the bat, which makes their case even stronger. (Suggested read: MS Dhoni ducks media once again)
Yuvraj scored 33 and Raina contributed 41 in a losing cause but both were out after they had got set. That both can also roll their arms over on this slow track at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium makes young batsman Ajinkya Rahane's case a bit weaker.
By getting out for nought having misread the flight of a Sachitra Senanayeke delivery, Rahane has done himself no good.

While Raina batted at No 3 on Monday, it was done with an aim of giving skipper's trusted lieutenant a chance to settle down and play more deliveries since Kohli's place is settled in the side. (Read more)
