India vs Australia 2nd Hockey Test Highlights: Jacob Whetton, Aran Zalewski Guide Kookaburras to Victory
Aran Zalewski and Jacob Whetton scored in quick succession as Australia registered a thrilling 2-1 win over India in the second hockey test Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel International Stadium in Raipur. With the win, Australia lead the three-match series 1-0 after the first game as drawn at Rajnandgaon.

20:00 hrs IST:  And it's OVER! Disappointment for India as they go down 1-2 to Australia. Devinder Walmiki gave hosts the lead, before Jacob Whetton and Aran Zalewski scored in quick succession to help the Kookaburras take 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The first game of the match was drawn.ÂÂ

19:36 hrs IST:  GOAL!!!! Australia, who were looked in attacking mode in the fourth quarter have their wish fulfilled with two successive goals to now lead 2-1. First Jacob Whetton equalised for Kookaburras with a deflected field goal. Couple of minutes later, Aran Zalewski gave them the lead with yet another deflected goal. Heading into the second Test, India chief coach Roelant Oltmans said they had addressed the shortcomings after the end of the match.
"It was a good game, but the last minute encroachment by the opponents into our area only exposed the areas we still need to take control of," Oltmans said. "We have addressed the concern areas and our hopeful of a better show."
India will have to be compact in their defence if they have to get through against Australia. The first match in Rajnandgaon saw a good response and similar is expected in the second Test at the newly inaugurated Sardar Vallabhai Patel stadium in Raipur.
