Narinder Batra gets International Hockey Federation President's Award

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) gave its prestigious President's Award to Hockey India (HI) president Narinder Batra here at the conclusion of its Congress here.
The President's Awards were presented to Batra and Italian Valentina Quaranta for their "lengthy and valuable services" to the sport.
An FIH statement Tuesday said that "Narinder Batra, for his commitment to the development of hockey in India during the last five years, including the creation of the Hockey India League (HIL)" got the award.
