"Look Straight, back swing, full finish" Ranveer Saini repeating his coach's words to himself like a man on a mission. The 14-year-old Autistic boy will be participating at the Special Olympics World Games later this month. He will be the 1st Indian to achieve this feat and he's been preparing hard for the challenge. What's more, he's the Indian Golf captain and has invited two more special athletes to join him as part of Team India. (Click here for latest on Golf)

This isn't Ranveer's first big achievement; NDTV also featured the special golfer 2 years ago when he became the 1st Indian golfer to win 2 gold medals at the Asia Pacific World Games. The past two years though have been a game-changer for Ranveer. He's not only more focused, aware and disciplined, but there's now more inclusion for Ranveer in the golfing fraternity. Ranveer's mother Bakthwar Saini proudly tell us, "Ranveer is so popular that everyone wants to include him in their 4-ball".
It hasn't been an easy road for Ranveer and his family. Diagnosed with Autism when he was less than 2 years old, there's been a lot of dedication and tireless effort that's gone into making Ranveer what he is today. He's also a keen cook, pianist and loves calculating dates and numbers. But it's golf that's given Ranveer Saini, a unique identity and his achievements have even included him in the Limca Book of Records.

Ranveer does not understand that he's creating history this month, for him, it's all about the simple joy of winning a watch that his family has promised him if he does well at the Special Olympics World Games. Well, there is one more incentive, Ranveer is very excited about!
Ranveer's father Kartikeya Saini tells us, "Ranveer knows a little bit about the President by the virtue of his school and his General Knowledge curriculum. He calls President Obama, Obama Uncle, and now he's been told that Michelle Aunty will meet him there, so he's looking forward to it."
