Malmo, Sweden:

Luke Donald produced a course record seven-under-par round of 65 to take a one shot lead in the Scandinavian Masters in Malmo, Sweden on Friday. The Briton sits at the top of the leaderboard on ten-under-par after two rounds, one ahead of Sweden's Wilhelm Schauman in second place. The Englishman's seven-under-par round was a new course record for the Barsebdck Golf & Country Club - a mark formerly held by Sweden's Carl Pettersson. If the 26-year-old can maintain this form then he would move from 14th place on Europe's Ryder Cup standings and into the top five places for automatic selection. (AP)
