Fred Funk beat Argentine Jose Coceres on the second playoff hole to win the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico on Sunday.

Fred Funk beat Argentine Jose Coceres on the second playoff hole to win the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico on Sunday.
With this win, he became the fifth oldest winner on the PGA Tour.
The 50-year-old, Funk overcame a shaky final round to record a 14-under 266 and become only the second man to win a PGA Tour event after winning on the Champions Tour.
Coceres came up short with his putter in the playoff rounds and just missed out on winning the PGA tour's first trip to Latin America.
