Barcelona: Ferrari's new F2003-GA will make an appearance at Barcelona this weekend. Michael Schumacher will surely be trying to get his mechanics to get the 2003 Ferrari in top condition for the Barcelona Grand Prix on Sunday. The Italian team had a poor start to 2003, but they bounced back in Italy at the Imola circuit, where Michael won the race for his first podium finish for this season. That victory had come in last year's car. But at this weekend's Grand Prix, the team has confirmed that the new F2003-GA will make its debut. The car was expected to debut in San Marino, but worries over reliability meant the introduction was delayed. "We have experience. We have been testing there so in recent years it has been OK. We could deal with the situation and we hope to deal with it this year again especially now with the new car," affirmed Michael Schumacher, five-time F-1 champion. And Schumacher's teammate Brazilian Rubens Barrichello also feels the new car is a step forward and will perform well in Spain. "Well Barcelona is a good racing track for me and for Ferrari. It doesn't matter how many times you test there, when you go to the racing track for the race, it is a different day and the car behaves differently," said Rubens Barrichello, Ferrari F-1 driver. Rival teams however are unlikely to welcome the arrival of the F2003-GA especially since it promises to be even better than the F2002.
