Zagallo retires from soccer

Sao Paulo:

Mario Zagallo, a former player and Brazil's assistant coach at last year's World Cup, has said he has retired from professional soccer, but admitted he could change his mind in the future.

He was dismissed by the Brazilian soccer confederation shortly after Brazil's elimination to France at the World Cup.
