New Delhi:

A depleted Indian side received another blow after fast bowler Zaheer Khan was ruled out of the three-match ODI series against South Africa with a muscle strain.

S Sreesanth will replace him in the series that starts from February 21. The pace spearhead pulled up a muscle of his right leg on the fourth day of the Kolkata Test. He remained confined to the dressing room and was not seen in action on the fifth and final day of the Test match at Eden Gardens.

The three-match ODI series begin in Jaipur on Sunday. Gwalior (February 24) and Ahmedabad (February 27) host the other two ODIs.
