It is quite well known that Virat Kohli is very savvy with social media. And now batting legend Rahul Dravid has also caught the bug, all thanks to India's current Test skipper.
Kohli, 27, recently posted a 10-year-old nostalgic photograph of himself with Dravid on Facebook as well as Twitter.
In that fanboy moment, Kohli also added an inspiration message: "Moments like these make you feel grateful for where you are. Once I was trying to make eye contact with this legend and then I was interviewed by him while playing Test cricket for India. I guess dreams do come true #Grateful."
In the photo, a teenage Kohli is seen posing with his friends with the then India captain Dravid while also trying to make eye contact with the Banglorean.
In another photograph posted just below, 'The Wall' is seen interviewing Kohli during India's tour of Australia in 2014-15 where the latter had led India for the first time during that series after MS Dhoni quit. India lost 2-0.
In response, Dravid posted the same photographs on Facebook and said: "Were you trying to only make eye contact or telling yourself, 'Buddy, I will do everything you did, but do it even better!'
The 43-year-old added: "You have been remarkable Virat Kohli, keep going!! - RD."
Dravid, who was the Board of Control for Cricket in India's first choice for the team's head coach before choosing Anil Kumble, is currently in charge of the India Under-19 and A teams.
Kohli is currently leading India against the West Indies in the Caribbean. After two Tests in Antigua and Jamaica, India lead the four-match series 1-0. Kohli scored his maiden double century in the first Test which India won by an innings.
