Who are India's new five selectors?
The Board of Control for Cricket in India appointed a new five-member Selection Committee for the term of four years. Sandeep Patil has been named the chairman of the selectors.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India appointed a new five-member Selection Committee for the term of four years. Sandeep Patil has been named the chairman of the selectors.
Sandeep Patil, West Zone and chairman: He played for India from 1980 to 1986. The India all-rounder was also a member of the 1983 World Cup winning team. His score of 174 against Australia is one of the best innings by an Indian Down Under. He is also remembered for hitting England's premier fast bowler Bob Willis for six boundaries in an over which was then a world record for most runs in an over. He was also the coach of the Indian team. Later on, he coached the Kenyan Cricket Team and was in charge when they reached the semis of the 2003 World Cup.
Saba Karim, East Zone: Played for India from 1997 to 2000. He was a wicketkeeper but was not a regular member in the side. He scored 55 against South Africa on his ODI debut. His career came to a sad end when he was hit in the eye by an Anil Kumble-delivery while keeping against Bangladesh in his only Test match.
Roger Binny, South Zone: Played for India from 1979 to 1987. In his eight-year long career, the former all-rounder picked 47 wickets in 27 Tests and 77 wickets in 72 ODIS. With the bat as well he had rescued India on many occasions. his best bowling figures was 6/56 in Tests and an a highest score of 83 not out. He was India's highest wicket-taker during the 1983 World Cup. The 57-year-old had played for two states - Goa and Karnataka.
Rajinder Singh Hans, Central Zone: Represented Uttar Pradesh from 1976 to 1987. A left-hand batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler, Hans took 340 first class wickets in 78 matches with best figures of 9/152. He had a highest first class score of 48.
Vikram Rathour, North Zone: Represented India from 1996 to 1997. Played 6 Tests averaging 13.10 and 7 ODIS averaging 27.57. He scored one fifty in ODIs and his highest Test score was 44.
