Virender Sehwag on Tuesday had his fans and followers on Twitter in splits on the occasion of former teammate VVS Laxman's birthday.
Viru, who has become some sort of cult figure on the social micro-blogging site, was in top form again as he delivered yet another gem on Laxman's big day.
The Delhi batsman's innings post retirement, on social media and the commentary box, has been as interesting as his explosive strokeplay as Team India's opener.
Just like his approach towards batting, Viru doesn't believe in holding back when he comments on social issues facing the country.
Though he has gained a reputation for his unique and hilarious birthday greetings, the explosive right-hander also takes positions on several contentious matters, which clearly sets him apart from other Indian cricketers.
Happy Birthday @VVSLaxman281 .

The Hyderabad cricketer turned 42 on Tuesday. Considered as one of the most stylish batsmen in Indian cricket history, Laxman's wristy batting had cricket fans and opposition teams in awe.
Laxman went on to play 134 Tests for India in a career spanning from 1996 to 2012.
His innings of 281 against Australia at the iconic Eden Gardens is often termed as the best innings by an Indian batsman in Test cricket.
