Virat Kohli Buys 34-Crore Luxury Pad in Mumbai: Reports

Delhi boy Virat Kohli has booked a flat in Mumbai's plush Worli region. According to reports, India's young Test captain has bought a 7,000 square feet sea-facing luxury pad worth Rs 34 crores.

Kohli is one of the most recognisable face in world sport. He and MS Dhoni are the only two cricketers in ESPN's World Top 100 athletes list. His cricketing exploits have also helped him win massive endorsement deals.

According to estimates, 27-year-old Kohli is the biggest sports celebrity having already joined the 100-crore club with 13 brands under his belt. This includes a 10-crore-per-annum deal with Adidas, a brand that used to be endorsed by Sachin Tendulkar.

Kohli has beaten Dhoni as a top earner from endorsements. According to reports, his bat deal with MRF is worth Rs 8 crore as compared to Dhoni's 6 crore. Kohli charges Rs 1.5 crore per day for shooting for brands. Dhoni takes around Rs 1 crore.

With news that his relationship with girlfriend and Bollywood star Anushka Sharma is again on the mend, Mumbai seems to be a perfect second 'home' for Kohli.

Kohli's sea-facing Worli flat is on the 35th floor of a super-luxury tower developed by Omkar Realtors & Developers. Yuvraj Singh also has an apartment in the 29th floor.

Kohli and Yuvraj will now be close to their idol Sachin Tendulkar, who lives in his 80-crore bungalow in nearby Bandra.
