Unmukt Chand to lead India in Under-19 World Cup

The Indian team for the upcoming ICC Under-19 World Cup was announced in Delhi on Tuesday.
The All India Junior Selection Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India named a 15-member squad, to be led by Unmukt Chand, the Delhi batsman, for the tournament to be played in Queensland, Australia in August this year.
Chand was the captain of the team that took part in the Under-19 Asia Cup, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently. At the tournament, India shared the trophy with Pakistan after the final, contested between the two teams, ended in a tie.
From the 16-man team that went to Kuala Lumpur, the selectors left out Ravikant Singh, the Bengal medium-pacer, and Sanju Samson, the Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman. Prashant Chopra, the right-hand batsman and part-time legbreak bowler from Himachal Pradesh, was brought into the 15.
