# For the first time in Tests, Sachin Tendulkar has posted fifty-plus in nine Tests in a row between December 2009 and October 2010.  

# Suresh Raina (86) has averaged 103.00, aggregating 309, including one hundred and two fifties.

# Tendulkar's tally of eight innings in the nervous nineties has been bettered only by Rahul Dravid (10), Steve Waugh (10) and Michael Slater (9).
#  Mitchell Johnson (5/64) has claimed five wickets in an innings for the first time against India - his sixth instance overall in Tests.

# Johnson became the first Australian bowler to bag five wickets in an innings at PCA Stadium, Mohali.

# Johnson has overtaken Bill Johnston's tally of 160 in 40 Tests.  His tally of 163 wickets (ave.28.38) in 37 Tests  is now the second best by a left-armer for Australia.
