Herschelle Gibbs posted his best IPL innings, his second fifty. His match-winning unbeaten 69 off 56 balls is his best innings, bettering the 58 off 44 balls against Mumbai Indians at Durban on April 25.

Adam Gilchrist (44) took his runs tally in the IPL to 599 at an average of 35.23 in 18 games. He now needs just one run to become the second batsman after Shaun Marsh (616) to aggregate 600 runs in the IPL.
Rudra Pratap Singh is now the top wicket-taker in the IPL - 24 wickets at 22.50 runs apiece in 18 games, bettering Shane Warne's tally of 23 wickets at 21.04 runs apiece in 18 games.
