Statistical highlights on the third day of the third cricket Test between India and Australia on Friday.

288 runs were made by Australia on Friday - their best ever performance in a day's play at the Ferozeshah Kotla, eclipsing their 271 for four on the first day of the 1959-60 Test.
Ricky Ponting became the third Australian batsman to amass 200 runs in the on-going series - 234 in five innings at an average of 46.80 (strike rate 49.15), including one century and one fifty.
Ponting's 41st fifty in Test Cricket is his sixth against India. In 11 Tests in India, Ponting has aggregated 406 runs at an average of 21.36, including one century and two fifties.
Ponting, thanks to his 87 off 165 balls today, became the first Australian Test captain to register a fifty at the Ferozeshah Kotla.
For the first time in his career, Virender Sehwag has claimed three wickets in an innings against Australia -- his third instance overall.
Simon Katich's 64 off 116 balls is his fourth fifty in India. Katich's 10th Test fifty is his sixth against India.
Katich and Matthew Hayden became the first Australia's opening pair to post a hundred partnership (123) at the Ferozeshah Kotla.
Hayden's first fifty (83 off 154 balls) in ten innings against India in India is his seventh overall against India --his 28th overall in Test Cricket.
Hayden took his run-aggregate against India to 1779 at an average of 59.30, including six centuries -- the most by any Australian batsman against India.
