For Sri Lanka, Prabath Jayasuriya was the star! He bagged yet another fifer and was well supported by Asitha Fernando! They bowled well in tandom and picked 8 wickets between them. Lanka should chase tihs down quickly. Afghainstan on the other hand, would love to pick a few wickets and make it tough for the hosts. Chase coming up in a bit.
Brilliant work from Lanka today and they just need the 56 runs to win this one-off Test! Afghanistan fought back really well on Day 3 thanks to Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmat Shah but once the latter fell, it was a procession. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals. They slipped from 246 for 3 to 250 for 7. Nasir Jamal did show some fight but he hardly got support from the lower and the middle order. Afghanistan will be very disappointed on how they just surrendered to the Lankan bowling attack.
