Sreesanth gets rid of his crutches

India's maverick pacer S Sreesanth is out of his crutches and has resumed training on Sunday.

The Kerela player who had underwent surgeries on his toes earlier this year, tweeted that he felt great. "Its gr8 to let u all know..tht iam out of crutches nd ve startd my training too.. Feelg gr8.. Sunday is a funday nd compete rest.." he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Sreesanth had earlier said that he expects to return to full form by January 2013 and that he was in no hurry to be back on the field.

Controversies though has not left his side despite him being off the field. Last month, a co-passenger in a Bangalore-Delhi flight alleged him of "boorish behaviour" on board the aircraft. The cricketer though had denied the allegations saying he knew how to behave in public. ( Read full report here)
