Shoaib Malik took to Twitter to wish his wife Sania Mirza on their marriage anniversary but like "always" the Pakistan all-rounder made the same mistake which he repeats regularly -- extending wishes a day late. "- Oops ghalti se mistake hogaya.. Wishing you a day late as always, love you @MirzaSania to the moon and back begum, Bay-Ghum," Shoaib Malik tweeted with a wink and a red heart emoji. Pakistan cricketer Shoaib got married to India's tennis star Sania Mirza in 2010.
The 39-year-old all-rounder's last international game was a T20 international against England in Manchester in September 2020.
His last appearance in the 50-over format came against India at the 2019 World Cup.
Shoaib Malik made his international debut in an ODI against the West Indies in Sharjah in 1999. His Test debut came two years later against Bangladesh.
The right-handed batsman has played 35 Tests, 287 ODIs and 116 T20Is for Pakistan.
He has 7,534 runs next to his name in the ODI format, including nine centuries. In the Test format, Shoaib Malik has 1,898 runs and he has hit three centuries.
