Sehwag, Gambhir, Steyn congratulate Shikhar Dhawan on Twitter
South African pacer Dale Steyn, who played alongside Dhawan in IPL side Deccan Chargers and will now play for Sunrisers also wished the left-hander good luck. Former Australian batsman Matthew Hayden praised Shikhar Dhawan's magnificent hundred on debut and feels that innings will be spoken about for a long time.

Senior players Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir on Saturday took to micro-blogging site twitter in order to congratulate their statemate Shikhar Dhawan, who announced his arrival on international stage with a mindblowing unbeaten 185 off 168 balls.
"Awesome stuff Shikhi boy! :) Best debut ever!! So proud of you. Go for a huge one tomorrow!," Sehwag wrote on his twitter page.
Gambhir urged his junior to continue the good work and crush the opposition.
"Jatt ji (Shikhar Dhawan) proud of u. Well done. Pakdey rehna, chordnaa nahi. They r down, crush 'em. Make it large Shikhar."

Amazing performance!" Haydeen wrote on his twitter page.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan while praising Dhawan didn't forget to take a dig at the Australians. "Dhawan's homework of the Aussie bowlers seems to have worked........" Vaughan commented.
His India teammates Harbhajan Singh and Ajinkya Rahane also took to twitter to congratulate him.
"Very welldone shikhar jaat ji. Top top top batting.really happy for u brother. hard work always pays off.rab rakha jatta. chardikalla ch raho," Harbhajan tweeted. "Very well played shikhar:) very happy for you buddy!," tweeted Rahane.
Manoj Tiwary also copngratulated Dhawan on his knock. "Great display of battin by Shikhar.. Amazin stuff !!! Wish u many more in future bro??"
