Second day's highlights:
# Virat Kohli has posted four fifty-plus scores in his last five innings - the scores being 75, 116 & 22 against Australia and 58 & 93 not out against New Zealand.
# Kohli's second fifty against New Zealand is his fifth in Tests. His superb unbeaten 93 is his second highest score in Tests - the highest is 116 against Australia at Adelaide in January 2012.
# Suresh Raina (55 off 90 balls) has registered his seventh fifty in Tests - his first fifty against New Zealand.
# Raina's above innings is his second half-century in nine innings in India - his highest is 86 against Australia at Mohali in 2010-11.
# Tim Southee (3/35) has recorded his best bowling figures against India, eclipsing the three for 119 at Hyderabad in November 2010.
# New Zealand (365) have recorded their highest total against India at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
