Mumbai:
The second day's play in the three-day practice game between the visiting Sri Lankan team and the Board's President's XI has been called off due to wet condition of the ground.
The first day's play on Wednesday could not be held because of unseasonal rains in wake of the deep depression over the Arabian sea.
The match has been reduced to a one-day affair with play scheduled to start at 9.30 am tomorrow but the limited over rules will not be applied as the Sri Lankans do not want to get into the one-day mould before the start of the Test series at Ahmedabad on November 16, according to manager Brendon Kuruppu.
