Sachin greeted on birthday by Mangeshkar family

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, a self-confessed fan of Sachin Tendulkar, and her family members greeted the master blaster on his birthday on Sunday evening.

During the anniversary celebration of the family patriarch Deenanath Mangeshkar, Lata was presented with a unique memento showing Sachin with a bat in his hand by Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray.

During her speech, Lata's sister Asha Bhosale wished Sachin with the song Tum jiyo hazron saal, aur sal ke din ho pachas hazar amid cheers by the huge gathering at Central Maidan here.

All the members of the Mangeshkar family including Lata's brother Hridayanath were present.

Bollywood actor Dharmendra was given the lifetime achievement award at the function.
