Mumbai:

There was a huge media scrum in Mumbai on Thursday evening as Sachin Tendulkar arrived back home following his historic 200 not out innings in the Gwalior game.

Sachin drove straight to a temple from the airport before getting home. He was quite taken aback when his car came to a standstill because of the huge contingent of media.

Thanking all the people of the country for their support after the double ton, Sachin dedicated his innings to them.

Tendulkar has been rested for the final game of the 3 match series against South Africa following his heroic knock.

Sachin has become the first player to make a double ton in the One Day International format of Cricket. The record has been established after almost 3000 ODI matches. He has now jumped to the third spot in the latest ICC batsmen rankings, with the top spot still occupied by MS Dhoni.
