Punjab Government to honour Yuvraj Singh
Middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh will be honoured by the Punjab government for his "outstanding contribution" to the Indian Cricket team's win in the World cup last year.

Middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh will be honoured by the Punjab government for his "outstanding contribution" to the Indian Cricket team's win in the World cup last year.
Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and Member Parliament and President of Punjab Olympic Association S S Dhindsa would honour Yuvraj with the cash prize of Rs 1 crore at function on Wednesday, an official spokesman said.
The left-hander has been forced out of action for the past few months following a rare germ cell cancer between his lungs.
