The Lahore Lions led by Mohammad Hafeez is due to fly out on September 9 to play the qualifying matches of the Champions League.

Interestingly, if the team qualifies for the main rounds then it will miss the national T20 regional tournament being held in Multan from September 16 to 28th the same duration as the main rounds of the Champions League.

"Even if Lahore Lions qualifies for the main rounds it will get a direct entry into the National T20 super eight event which will be held next year," the official said.
