run out (Chamu Chibhabha / Wesley Madhevere / Sikandar Raza)
25.5 OUT! RUN OUT! Phew, a decision finally! Imam-ul-Haq has been declared out. Haris Sohail was in by half an inch, more than Imam and hence the latter has to depart. Full and outside off, Imam nudges that to short third man. There was no single there but his partner, Haris Sohail, took off for a run. Imam was ball watching and barely responded to the call. He neither said yes nor no. Haris meanwhile steams intowards the striker's end. Imam was outside of his crease a hint, he dives to try to get back in. The throw comes to the keeper who relays it back to the bowler. A simple run-out at the bowler's end. Now, the question is who's out - Imam or Sohail? Multilple angles are in, multiple times checked. Finally, the umpire deems that Sohail got inside the crease first and Imam later, the latter out! 119/3

Abid Ali | 21 | 30 | 5 | 0 | 70 |
lbw b Carl Mumba
11 OUT! LBW! Mumba strikes. Zimbabwe gets the breakthrough. Good length ball on middle and leg, Abid looks to play at it but misses to get hit on the pads. Zimbabwe appeal for a LBW and the umpire raises his finger. Abid thinks for a review but then walks back in the end. 47/1

Babar Azam C | 19 | 18 | 3 | 0 | 105.55 |
c Brendan Taylor b Blessing Muzarabani
17.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Muzarabani did not get the new ball but he still manages to snare a wicket. Big wicket, that of Babar Azam. Fullish ball outside off, inviting the drive on the up. Azam is tempted and falls for the trap. Ends up getting an outside edge to the keeper, Brendan Taylor, who takes it easily. 89/2
Haris Sohail | 71 | 82 | 6 | 2 | 86.58 |
c Brendan Taylor b Sikandar Raza
41.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Sikandar Raza gets his 1st wicket. It is the big one, of Haris Sohail. Flatter ball outside off, Haris Sohail rocks back and looks to cut but ends up getting an outside edge. Brendan Taylor, the keeper, fumbles but manages to hold onto it. Very faint tickle. 205/6
Mohammad Rizwan Wk | 14 | 29 | 0 | 0 | 48.27 |
b Tendai Chisoro
36.1 OUT! TIMBER! Chisoro gets the breakthrough. Rizwan's struggle ends here. Flatter ball just outside off, Rizwan sits down for a massive slog but he plays down the wrong line. He ends up dragging the ball onto the stumps off the inside edge. 161/4
Iftikhar Ahmed | 12 | 14 | 0 | 1 | 85.71 |
c Brendan Taylor b Tendai Chisoro
40.3 OUT! TAKEN! Chisoro gets another one. Not the kind of start Pakistan wanted in this Powerplay 3. Flatter and just outside off, Ifthikhar looks to cut by going back but he manages just a faint ouside edge. Taylor who had put down a chance earlier makes no mistake this time around. 194/5

Faheem Ashraf | 23 | 16 | 3 | 0 | 143.75 |
c Craig Ervine b Blessing Muzarabani
46.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Faheem holes out! A fine catch at long off. Full and outside off, Faheem looks to launch it over long off but he gets more height than distance. Ervine at long off settles under it and takes a good catch near the ropes. It almost eluded him but he kept his eyes on the ball and does really well to hold onto it. 247/7

run out (Craig Ervine / Richard Ngarava / Brendan Taylor)
47.5 OUT! RUN OUT! Superb piece of work from Taylor. Another confusion between the two batsman and another disastrous dismissal for them. Full ball outside off, Riaz looks to drill it over towards the cover fielder. They go for the single but Imad suddenly sends him back. The throw comes at the bowler's end. Both the batters are almost at that end. Riaz backtracks and hares to his end as the bowler misses his shy at the stumps. But, the keeper, Taylor collects the balls and takes the bails off with a gently underarm throw. The third umpire has been called for. Replays roll in and it shows that Riaz is short. Terrific work from Taylor. 257/8

b Shaheen Afridi
0.3 OUT! TIMBER! Shaheen Afridi strikes with the new ball. Chari's stay at the crease is very shortlived. Full and swinging in to middle, Chari looks to have a poke at it but misses due to the swing and the stumps behind are shattered. 2/1
Chamu Chibhabha C | 13 | 13 | 3 | 0 | 100 |
b Shaheen Afridi
4.4 OUT! BOWLED! Inside edge but that does not matter. Chamu Chibhabha, the skipper, is gone for 13. Full and around off, Chamu's eyes lit up on seeing the fuller length, he goes for the drive, but gets an inside edge. Unlucikly for him, it goes onto hit the stumps. Some days they go to the fine leg boundary. This was not such a day. 28/2
Craig Ervine | 41 | 68 | 6 | 0 | 60.29 |
c Haris Rauf b Imad Wasim
22 OUT! TAKEN! Imad Wasim gets the breakthrough for his side. Finally, the partnership is broken. Craig Ervine normally plays the reverse sweep well, but not this time. Tossed up around off, he goes for the reverse sweep, gets it uppishly, but just to the left of short third man. Haris Rauf moves there and takes it with ease. 183 runs needed in 168 balls for Zimbabwe still. 99/3
Brendan Taylor Wk | 112 | 117 | 11 | 3 | 95.72 |
c Wahab Riaz b Shaheen Afridi
46.5 OUT! TAKEN! Taylor falls. A massive, massive moment in the game. The asking rate was getting big and Taylor had to go. A full ball just outside off, Taylor looks to launch it over the off side but the ball hits the toe end and balloons towards mid off. Wahab there settles under it and takes it easily. A top knock from Taylor comes to an end. He would've loved to take the team home but has perished. 42 needed in 19 balls. 240/6
Sean Williams | 4 | 14 | 0 | 0 | 28.57 |
c Mohammad Rizwan b Wahab Riaz
26.4 OUT! TAKEN! Sean Williams goes after making just 4. Wahab Riaz gets the breakthrough for Pakistan. Good catch from Rizwan as well. Length ball outside off, takes Williams by surprise as he was anticipating a fuller one. Gets the outside edge and goes just over Rizwan's head, who jumps and takes it cleanly. 167 runs needed in 140 balls for Zimbabwe still. 115/4
Wessly Madhevere | 55 | 61 | 7 | 0 | 90.16 |
b Wahab Riaz
45.2 OUT! TIMBER! Wahab strikes! Pakistan will hope that this opens the floodgates for them. Shortish ball on off and middle, Madhevere looks to pull but he is a bit early in the shot. He misses and the ball sneaks below his bat to disturb the stumps. 48 runs needed in 28 balls still for the visitors. 234/5
Sikandar Raza | 8 | 7 | 1 | 0 | 114.28 |
b Wahab Riaz
47.2 OUT! Knocks him over! Wahab gets another one. Raza goes now and the hopes of Zimbabwe takes a massive dive. Change of pace from Wahab. It is on a good length and on middle, Raza looks to defend but is beaten for pace. He misses and the ball does not. It rattles the stumps behind. 245/7
Tendai Chisoro | 5 | 6 | 1 | 0 | 83.33 |
b Shaheen Afridi
48.4 OUT! TIMBER! FIFER FOR AFRIDI! A terrific yorker and Chisoro has no answer. Full, fast and straight. You miss, I hit delivery from Afridi. Chisoro backs away again but this time fails to make any connection. The off pole takes the beating. 250/9
Carl Mumba | 1 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 33.33 |
c Wahab Riaz b Shaheen Afridi
48.1 OUT! TAKEN! Another one bites the dust and Shaheen gets his 4th. Zimbabwe are falling apart here. Mumba is the latest one to depart. Wahab Riaz with a fine catch. Full and outside off, Mumba looks to launch it over mid off but mistimes it. It is just over Wahab at mid off. He does well to take a couple of steps behind and hold onto the catch. 246/8
