As four Pakistan players get a nod on visa to visit India for IPL, legendary cricketer Rameez Raja talks exclusively to NDTV and says its high time both the nations come together and start playing again.

On Pak players getting visas but auction being inevitable...

Difficult for me to sit in Lahore and comment. But it is time now for India to decide whether the public is ready to accept Pakistani cricketers or not. That is the big question. There is still some positive news, at least the IPL governing committee is trying very hard to see a way for Pak players to come and play in IPL.

On government vs IPL...

I guess the government and IPL committee both have issues to settle when it comes to Pak players. Security can be a big issue and they don't want a controversial IPL, I guess. I can understand them delaying the decision because it's not a straightforward one.

On Pakistan needing India...

I think its a great time for India to make a huge presence in the hearts of the Pakistani people and I think time is right for India to resume cricketing ties with Pakistan. Pakistan is half strong in front of India and broadcasters love India-Pak clashes so its a win-win situation for both if they start playing again.
