Sachin Tendulkar looking up towards heaven and saying a small prayer after every cricketing milestone became his signature celebration during his more than two-decade long career. A maturing and in better control of his aggression Virat Kohli is nowadays doing something similar.
India's cricket icons paid tribute to their respective dads on Father's Day on Sunday. Both Tendulkar and Kohli lost their fathers while they were playing a cricket match.
Controlling emotions, Tendulkar scored a brilliant 140 not out against Kenya in a World Cup match on May 23, 1999 in Bristol only days after his father Ramesh Tendulkar's death. ÂÂ
Even till today, his father remains Tendulkar's biggest inspiration.

Kohli has a similar tale. He was playing a Ranji Trophy match for Delhi when his father - Prem Kohli -- passed away in the wee hours. Kohli, all of 18, was back in action the next day to score a valiant 90 as Delhi survived against Karnataka.
How I Wish I could wish you in person on this day. The strongest person ever. Happy Father's Day. #pillarsofstrength pic.twitter.com/XsNJ5AtaTy

For India's evergreen Davis Cupper Leander Paes, hockey Olympian father Vece has been an inspiration. From hunting sponsors to giving emotional support, Vece has played a big role in his son's career.
