New Delhi:
The optional net practice and the press conference of the Delhi Daredevils IPL team on the eve of their match against Deccan Chargers was called off on Saturday.
The senior players opted to rest and some junior players preferred to hit the gym at the stadium instead of slogging it out on the field.
Both the teams need to win tomorrow's clash to make the semifinal grade.
"The players were tired, so they chose to rest. Five junior players of the side had a gym session. The cancellation has nothing to do with the blast in Bangalore. It's just a co-incidence," a spokesman of the Delhi Daredevils team said.
The Deccan Chargers players were not scheduled to have any practice session.
They arrived in the city today from Dharamsala after beating Kings XI Punjab on Friday.
