Indore:
Following BCCI's decision to grant Test status to the Holkar stadium in Indore, authorities are hoping to host a five-day match in the city.
"In the next six months nine international test matches will be played in the country. We are hopeful that at-least we will get an opportunity to host one of it," Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) CEO, Rohit Pandit said.
He said the facilities at the stadium, having capacity to accommodate 27,000 fans, are being enhanced for players.
The stadium has hosted four ODI matches at the ground.
BCCI in its Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in November last year, had granted Test Cricket status to Indore.
