Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma Make Their First Public Appearance Together

Love found its way into the action-packed Indian Super League football field. As players muscled against each other on the pitch, FC Goa co-owner Virat Kohli was seen in the stands with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in what was their first public appearance together.

All eyes were on the 'couple' who have reportedly been dating for several years but have mostly managed to keep it under wraps. Barring a few and extremely rare incidents when the two were seen in the company of each other - India's tour to New Zealand earlier this year being one,  both Virat and Anushka have kept their relationship away from prying eyes. Friday though was a marked shift from the usual as the two watched the football action together.

Both Virat and Anushka were wearing the FC Goa team jersey and while Kohli looked visibly agitated and his team eventually lost the match, Anushka's presence seemed to have a calming effect on him.

Earlier, there were unconfirmed reports of a possible engagement after Virat's family met Anushka at her Mumbai penthouse. While no formal announcement was made, media reports have repeatedly quoted sources close to the pair as saying that the two are serious about 'the next level.'
