19:43 IST: WICKET! Binny picks up the last Bangladesh man and his figures read 6/4! These are now the best ODI figures by an Indian in ODIs and they beat Anil Kumble's 6/12 against the West Indies. India have won by 47 runs (D/L method)

19:41 IST: WICKET! Binny has disturbed Hossain's timber! Fifer for Binny. His first in only his third game. What a day this is turning out to be for rookies. Five wickets in five overs. Bangladesh are 58/9 off 17.2 overs
19:31 IST: WICKET! Stuart Binny has now taken his fourth wicket in his fourth over. It's like a race between him and Mohit as they destroy the Bangladeshi innings. The hosts are 56/8 from 16 overs.
19:22 IST: WICKET! A horrible shot from Ziaur Rahman as he stepped down the track to Mohit Sharma's slower ball but only mistimed it a long way up in the air for Akshar Patel to take the catch. Bangladesh are 54/7 off 14.3 overs.
19:19 IST: WICKET! Mohit Sharma has struck off the first ball on his return to the attack and what a wicket to get as he sees off Shakib al Hasan. Bangladesh are in tatters at 52/6 after 14.1 overs. India have come out all guns blazing to defend their below-par total.
19:14 IST: Bangladesh Rocked! Binny is making inroads into the opposition ranks; he removed a well-set Mithun Ali before knocking off Mahmudullah to get on a hattrick. His figures after three overs 3/2 off three overs.
19:06 IST: Binny is making the most of this opportunity. After making his debut in New Zealand earlier this year, the Karnataka all-rounder got another game in the Asia Cup in February against Sri Lanka, but bowled four ineffective overs. However, against Bangladesh tonight, Binny could well be playing a game-changing spell. Figures of 2-2-0-1 so far.
19:03 IST: WICKET! Stuart Binny has finally been rewarded for a very tight line for two overs on the trot. Mushfiqur Rahim poked at the ball and Saha completed an easy catch as Bangladesh slipped to 44/3 off 11.4 overs.
18:53 IST: Stuart Binny starts off with a maiden; Bangladesh are 39/2 off 10 overs. India also had the option of playing Vinay Kumar but they have never been known to play four seamers. Akshar Patel and Amit Mishra, the two spinners for India tonight? Can they make an impact?
18:41 IST: FOUR! Poor line from Umesh Yadav and Rahim dispatches it to the fence; sheer class from the Bangladesh captain as he gets off the mark off the eighth ball he faced.
18:38 IST: Perhaps it's all about weathering this early storm from the Indian pacers. Mushfiqur Rahim is a classy player and he will have some talented batsmen to play around him. The good thing is of course that the required rate will never be too steep, so the hosts are in no real hurry.
18:32 IST: Bangladesh, as they resume their reply, after the dinner break face a reasonably stiff task even as they chase a moderate 106 in 41 overs. The conditions are still helpful for swing bowling and Mohit Sharma and Umesh Yadav could be a handful on this surface.
18:00 IST: The players walk off for their dinner break with Bangladesh on 19/2 off 5 overs, chasing 106 in 41. Both wickets have gone to Mohit Sharma.
17:54 IST: Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim has joined debutant Mithun Ali in the middle with Bangladesh suddenly looking at a tricky chase. The onus is now on the captain, a seasoned batsman at the interntational level to steer his side out of trouble.
17:53 IST: WICKET! Mohit Sharma gets another one as he remives Anamul Haque for a duck. Bangladesh are 13/2 off three overs and India are suddenly in with a chance.
17:41 IST: FOUR! Mithun Ali, another debutant for Bangladesh wants to make his mark today as he smacks Umesh Yadav through extra covers before picking off another FOUR! on the leg side. Bangladesh are on the move here. They are 13/1 off 2 overs.
17:35 IST: WICKET! This is bizarre from Tamim Iqbal; he came down the pitch to hammer Mohit Sharma for a boundary off the first ball of the innings before playing a nothing short off the next ball to edge it to Saha behind the stumps. Bangladesh are 4/1 off 0.2 over.
India 105 all out in 25.3 overs; Taskin Ahmed 5/28, Suresh Raina 27
17:24 IST: WICKET! Shakib al Hasan removes his KKR teammate Umesh Yadav as India are bowled out for 105 in 25.3 overs. This has been outstanding bowling by the Bangladeshis, led by debutant Taskin Ahmed, who took five wickets on debut. He bowled just two deliveries before rain stopped play but came back to rock India's batting. Bangladesh now need to chase down 106 in 41 overs.
17:08 IST: WICKET! This is sensational stuff. Taskin Ahmed gets five on debut as he traps Amit Mishra for 4. India are now 86/9 off 22.1 overs. The last-wicket pair of Mohit Sharma and Umesh Yadav in the middle now. Can they take India past 100?
17:02 IST: WICKET! Fourth wicket for Taskin Ahmed on debut. What a start to an international career as Ahmed removes Stuart Binny. India are 81/8 off 20.5 overs.

16:50 IST: Bangladesh bowling coach Heath Streak is understandably excited with Taskin Ahmed, who has bagged three wickets on debut. "He is a huge prospect for Bangladesh and has good striking capabilities," said the former Zimbabwean pacer.

16:42 IST: WICKET! Disaster for India as they continue to lose wickets. Akshar Patel had come out and played a couple of sweet looking shots before he perished to Al-Amin Hossain. India are 75/7 off 17.5 overs and could well be bowled out inside 41 overs.
16:37 IST: WICKET! That's the big one. Binny plays it away for a single and Raina insists for a second. Binny sends him back and Raina is caught short of his ground as India collapse to a disastrous 66/6 in 17 overs. They are in complete shambles. Binny now with Akshar Patel.
16:33 IST: WICKET! Mortaza struck in his last over to see off Saha for 5. After getting a wicket off his second ball, the senior most Bangladesh bowler struck off his second last to leave India hopelessly in trouble on 65/5 in 16.5 overs.
16:27 IST: Wriddhiman Saha, who broke through to the Indian side on the back of a great IPL season, will be feeling the heat of international cricket. The ball has done a lot, has swung and has even surprised the batsmen with the uneven bounce. He at least has Raina to look for some support at the other end. The stand-in captain has not been scared to play his shots but after two quick setbacks, he will be forced to drop anchor.
16:17 IST: WICKET! Taskin Ahmed has taken this third wicket; what a debut this is turning out to be. He has brought Pujara's tortured stay at the crease to an end. India are tottering now, at 55/4 in 13.4 overs.

16:11 IST: Whatever the conditions, Raina knows only way to play; he will not be bowed down by the swinging ball, so expect a few boundaries, even some edges flying over the slip fielders.
16:03 IST: Raina has come in and hit a couple of boundaries while Pujara has been content to just stay at the wicket after walking in at the fall of the first wicket in the second ball of the innings. It is a good blend for India to have at the moment but Pujara will have to accelerate at some point. India are 43/3 after 12 overs.
15:56 IST: FOUR! Suresh Raina, the stand-in skipper has come in with an aggressive intent. Mortaza, who has bowled brilliantly today, erred a little in line and the left-handed batsman was up to the task, giving it the treatment it deserved. India are 33/1 off 10.2 overs.
15:50 IST: WICKET! Taskin Ahmed is on fire on debut as he strikes again, to remove Ambati Rayudu for 1. India are in shambles at 28/3 off 9.1 overs.
15:42 IST: Taskin Ahmed has struck on debut to get a big WICKET! A quikish delivery caught Uthappa off guard and he played a false shot to depart for 14. India are 26/2 off 7.4 overs.
15:39 IST: FOUR! Ahmed pitched it ever so slightly off the first ball of his second over and Uthappa was ready for that, playing a beautiful shot through the off-side. India 24/1 off 7.1 overs. Scoring has not been easier after play resumed so India will need to get as many as they can off loose balls.
15:33 IST: India get four runs off Taskin Ahmed's first over in ODIs, all four coming after the rain break. India are 18/1 after 6.
15:20 PM IST: The first powerplay will be for eight overs, the batting powerplay has been reduced to four overs while one bowler can bowl a maximum of nine overs and four can bowl a max of eight.
15:17 IST: The match will start at 3.30 PM IST (4 PM local time). There is word that the game has been reduced to 41-overs-a-side.
14:47 IST: Inspection will start in the next 15 minutes.
14:30 IST: The rain has stopped and the groundsmen are removing the covers; loud cheers across the Mirpur stadium. Remember, India were 14/1 off 5.2 overs, when heavy showers forced play to be stopped. Uthappa was batting on six and Pujara was unbeaten on three.

14:20 IST: The rain had started to reduce a little before picking up momentum again. The ground is still entirely covered. One of the umpires was seen walking around the boundary.
13:06 IST: The rain interrupted Taskin Ahmed's debut; he had just bowled his first two deliveries before heavy showers drove the players inside. He could play an important role today when play resumes, with the ball already swinging. Meanwhile, Robin Uthappa, who got a half-century in the last game and Test regular Cheteshwar Pujara, have a lot of work to do; they have looked very uncertain against the swinging ball so far.
12:57 IST: Rain stops play. The covers are on and the sounds of thunder are getting louder. But with a breeze passing by, the rain could go away soon. India are 14/1 off 5.2 overs.

12:55 IST: Mortaza has bowled a maiden as India continue to be pushed on the backfoot early on. The second maiden in the first five overs. India are 14/1 off 5.2 overs.
12:48 IST: FOUR! Uthappa glanced it fine as India find their first boundary off the bat. Important runs because they would give the comeback man some confidence. There is juice on the surface and the batsmen need to figure out which way the ball is moving. India 14/1 after 4 overs.
12:46 IST: Mortaza bowled a beautiful first over and came back to bowl an even better second. It is only three overs into the game but India's batsmen have not looked comfortable in swinging conditions. Just one run off the over. The world champions are 9/1 after three overs.
12:41 IST: Al-Amin Hossain delivered a brilliant second over to Pujara, who looked at sea against the swinging delivery. The Indian batsmen have looked uncertain with their footwork today. India 8/1 off 2 overs.

12:30 IST: WICKET! Mashrafe Mortaza struck off the second ball of the innings to remove Ajinkya Rahane for a duck. This is a poor start for India, after they were asked to bat in overcast conditions in Mirpur.
12:00 IST: Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl vs India in Mirpur. While the hosts have habded two debuts to Taskin Ahmed and Mithun Ali, India have included Stuart Binny in place of Rasool.
The Indian team registered a thumping seven wicket win in the opening ODI. While the bowlers were decent, India openers Robi Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu had a 99-run stand - a sign that the team can experiment with this pair going forward. The second ODI is expected to be a one-sided affair once again but the tourists will have to guard against complacency. Skipper Suresh Raina has be an able leader against weaker opponents and he would like to maintain that reputation.
Bangladesh though would be itching to deliver a surprise punch. While their performance has been nothing to write home about, there were some fine knocks from the likes of Mushfiqur Rahim (59), Shakib al Hasan (52) and Anamul Haque (44). The bowlers will have to back the batting if the team has to deliver a comprehensive performance.
Weather though may play spoil-sport once again as the forecast is of some rain. The first match had a two and a half hour delay due to the rain and while the ground-staff has done a decent job, showers once again can play havoc.
