KN Colts beat Rohtak Road Gymkhana to enter GG Dutt Memorial pre-quarters

Left-arm spinner Ramesh Prasad picked up four wickets to help KN Colts thrash Rohtak Road Gymkhana by 61 runs in first round match at St Stephen's College ground, Mori Gate in Delhi.
The win takes KN Colts to pre-quarterfinals where they will play Rajasthan Cricket Association on June 1.
Chasing 189 for a win, Rohtak were shot out for 127 in 35.5 overs thanks to Ramesh Prasad's 4-wicket haul, which included wickets of top three batsmen. Digvijay Sherwat (39) waged a lone battle as he ran out of partners at the other end.
Earlier put in to bat, KN Colts were bundled out 188 runs in 37.3 overs. Kapil Dhaka top scored with 51, while Arun Chaprana (30) and Shiva Yadav (27) chipped in with crucial knocks.
Ashish Rawat took 3 wickets for 34 runs, while skipper Abhishek Vats, Jatin Dalal and Sushil Khat bagged 2 wickets each for Rohtak.
