Clarke, playing in front of around 500 people for Western Suburbs against Randwick-Petersham at a small inner-city oval, was dropped at second slip before scoring and was almost run out on returning for the second run. He was later dropped again at second slip when on 30.
The 34-year-old Clarke retired after the Ashes defeat last August.
He has been linked with a number of Twenty20 competitions and has refused to rule out a comeback to international cricket.
