Despite managing to snatch three wickets towards the end, the damage had already been done, and the game had slipped too far out of reach for the Kings to mount any significant comeback.

Islamabad United has indeed delivered a sensational performance, sealing victory in emphatic fashion with 7 wickets in hand. The opening partnership between Colin Munro and Alex Hales was nothing short of spectacular, as they combined forces to launch a relentless assault on the opposition bowlers. Their formidable partnership of 108 runs laid a solid foundation for Islamabad United's successful chase. Although Hales narrowly missed out on a half-century, falling for a valiant 47 runs, Munro's impressive knock of 82 runs set the tone for the innings. While the quick succession of three wickets posed a slight hiccup for Islamabad United, the foundation laid by the dynamic opening pair ensured that the required run rate remained well within reach. The composed efforts of skipper Shadab Khan and Agha Salman guided the team to victory, bringing the chase to a comfortable conclusion.
