Whoa! Just 19.5 overs this morning and Australia have been bowled out. Yes, you read it right! The number one ranked Test team were ambushed by their eternal weakness - spin as Herath and Perera took 4 wickets apiece between them. The veteran left armer even took a hat-trick thereby being the second Sri Lankan ever to achieve the feat. Only Marsh today and Warner yesterday showed some fight for the Australians. This is Australia's lowest ever Test score in Sri Lanka. A mammoth 175-run lead for the hosts and the writing is on the wall for the tourists. The SL innings isn't far away, so don't go anywhere folks!
OUT! That's a brilliant catch by Karunaratne! Marsh swings accross the line but gets it off the toe end of the bat. Karunaratne who is stationed at straightish long off, moves back, judges it perfectly and dives to his right and grabs a great catch! The Aussies are bundled out for a paltry score of 106 runs. Sri Lanka lead by 175 runs!
Floated around middle, Marsh comes down the track and defends it.
Lakshan Sandakan comes into the attack!
Flatter outside off, Holland stays back and blocks it out.
Fuller on middle and leg, Marsh works it through mid-wicket for a single.
SIX! SMASHED! Even better stroke! Drifting in on middle and off, Marsh gives the charge again and nails a meaty lofted drive over long on for another maximum. Clean hitting this!
SIX! BOOM! Big hit! Floats it up on off, Marsh steps out to that one and carts it over long on for a biggie. Muscular stroke and nimble footwork from the all-rounder.
Four byes! Floats it up outside off, the slider bounces extra as Marsh is beaten on the push. It goes past Chandimal too as the ball races to the ropes. Byes signaled.
Fuller outside off, Marsh steps out and blocks it out.
