ÂÂ
23.27 (IST): Man-of-the-match Lendl Simmons: I would like to thank Mumbai for giving me a chance to come play for them. It was a very good track and the ball was coming on nicely. The slog-sweep that I played of the spinner, I enjoyed it a lot.
ÂÂ
23.25 (IST): Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma: This is the potential that we have got. I have spoken many times about the character of this team. We have been working on all possibilities from the last two days but it is important to win the remaining two games first. The first 5 games that we played in Dubai, things didn't work out. When played at the Wankhede everything started to fall into place
23.20 (IST): Kings XI Punjab skipper George Bailey: We lost wickets in the middle. Phenomenal innings from Lendl. We were 10 or 15 runs short. We were completely outplayed. We would have liked to chase. It is important to keep doing the right things. It was good to see Shaun Marsh play well. Mitch is recovering from a niggle, Beuran got a chance as well. Momentum is very important. We still took it to the last over. It was okay.

Preview
On a roll after notching up nine victories to qualify for the play-off stage, Kings XI Punjab would look to continue their winning momentum when they take on struggling Mumbai Indians in their first Indian Premier League-7 match at their home ground today.
Punjab have been riding high on confidence after steamrolling almost every other side they have played against and one more victory on Wednesday in front of their home crowd will put themselves in the commanding position as the IPL-7 heads towards the business end.
While Glenn Maxwell, the orange-cap holder with a mammoth 531 runs, has been the side's star performer, young Punjab players like Sandeep Sharma and Manan Vohra in the batting department and Akshar Patel in the bowling department have also shown great maturity in pressure situations.
Defending champions Mumbai have had a disastrous campaign and need to win their remaining three matches to keep alive their hopes of making it to the knock-out stage. Mumbai camp will be boosted by the fact that they are one of only two teams to beat Punjab this season. (Read more)
Each Win Motivates Punjab Further: George Bailey
Kings XI Punjab skipper George Bailey feels every win is vital as it increases confidence and self belief among the players going into the business end of the tournament. Bailey said they would like to keep the winning momentum going into the knock-out stages of the T20 league. "I think what you get from winning is confidence and self belief. They are really two important things in this format of the game," Bailey said.
"Momentum is certainly very important. Having said that once you get to the finals, it cancels everything. You start from the scratch," he added. (Read more)
Kings XI Punjab, the Unique Chase Masters of IPL 7
In modern cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli and George Bailey are regarded as the best chasers of the game. They are regarded as cool, calculated and devastating in the death overs and never burdened by targets. But in the Indian Premier League, Kings XI Punjab will be regarded as the best chasers as a 'team'. Monday's four-wicket win against Delhi Daredevils at Feroz Shah Kotla was a classic example of how Kings XI Punjab held their nerves and chased down Delhi's 164 for 7 with just two balls to spare.
