KPL: KCA hands over documents to bidders
KCA handed over acceptance documents to eight successful bidders of next month's Karnataka Premier League, a Twenty20 tournament on the lines of IPL.

Karnataka State Cricket Association on Thursday handed over acceptance documents to eight successful bidders of next month's Karnataka Premier League, a Twenty20 tournament on the lines of IPL.
The eight frachisees are -- Brigade Enterprises (Bangalore Urban team; highest bid of Rs 7.2 crore payable over five years), Melmont Constructions (Bangalore Rural; Rs 5.55 crore), Fiza Developers (Mangalore; Rs 4.23 crore), Subash Enterprises (Belgaum; Rs 3.81 crore), Shamanur Shivashankrappa & Associates (Hubli-Dharwad; Rs 3.77 crore), Vivid Creations (Gulbarga; Rs 3.5 crore), Jayaprakash Hegde (Shimoga; Rs 3.25 crore) and Sirish Auto (Mysore; Rs 3.25 crore).
KSCA President Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar and KSCA Secretary Brijesh Patel were present on the occasion.
The event is slated to be held from September 12 to 27 here and in Mysore, officials said.
