The Kolkata Knight Riders are dancing - on and off the field. After storming into their second Indian Premier League final in three years, the Knights are shaking their legs in style. It's a sight for cricket fans across the country - the 'Happy' team grooving to Pharrell Williams in a musical video online.
In what is meant to be a 'Thank you for supporting us' video for fans, the Knight Riders -led by Gautam Gambhir, showcase their moves. Almost every member of the side shows what the mood in the camp is like - shaking their legs, clapping their hands and generally going wild.
From Sunil Narine, Ryan ten Doestche and Jacques Kallis to bowling coach Wasim Akram, the KKR camp is seen humming and grooving to the immensely popular, ultra-addictive track. The show-stopper though is in-form batsman Robin Uthappa - the highest IPL 7 run-getter showing that he knows a lot more than just cricket.
Uthappa leads the 'chorus' and his lip synchronization appears so natural that it would have made Pharrell proud.
The USP of the video, however, is Gambhir flashing a million dollar smile. The KKR captain is not known for his lighter side but his team's stunning success has finally allowed him to relax.
All in all, it makes for an amazing thank you message from an amazing team which is playing an amazing brand of IPL cricket!
