Kerala to host Duleep Trophy semi-finals and final

The semi-finals will be held from October 10-13. The decision in this regard was taken at the South Zone fixture committee meeting held in Chennai, a Karnataka Cricket Association press release said on Saturday.

Kerala will for the first time host the final of the All India Duleep trophy at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium here from October 17 to 21.

The semi-finals will be held from October 10-13. The decision in this regard was taken at the South Zone fixture committee meeting held in Chennai, a Karnataka Cricket Association press release said on Saturday.

Most of the Indian senior and junior players will be participating in the prestigious tourney.

Kerala hosted this tournament on three occasions earlier -- October 23-26 in 1981 at University stadium Thiruvananthapuram between North and South zones; October 11-14, 1985 when the semi-finals were held at Thiruvananthapuram between North and West Zones and April 10-13, 2003 between elite C and Plate B at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kochi.
