Indian left-arm spinner Murali Kartik spun Middlesex to a 47-run victory over Kent in the LV County Championship Division II.

Indian left-arm spinner Murali Kartik spun Middlesex to a 47-run victory over Kent in the LV County Championship Division II.
In 29 overs he bowled, including five overs on the trot with the second new ball, Kartik finished with four for 53 as Middlesex secured their first win of the Championships.
This was also their first victory on Kent soil since a four-wicket success at Dartford in 1983.

Middlesex first innings 155 all out (GK Berg 57 not out); Kent first innings 141 all out (DI Stevens 67).
Middlesex second innings 320 all out (GK Berg 98, JC Tredwell 5/100); Kent second innings 287 all out (M van Jaarsveld 54, A Khan 62 not out; M Kartik 4/53).
