The Irani Cup clash between Ranji Trophy champions of the upcoming domestic season and the Rest of India will be held from February 9-13 next year at a venue, which will be decided later by the Cricket Board.
The annual fixture between the domestic champions has been shifted from the beginning of the season to the latter half from last season by BCCI.
The Ranji knockout games - comprising four quarter-finals, two semi-finals and the final - will be played at venues to be identified by the Ground and Pitches Committee, of the BCCI in consultation with the Chairman of the Technical Committee.
The Ranji knock out schedule is:
Quarter finals: January 8-12, 2014; Semi finals: January 18-22 and Final: January 29-February 2.
Irani Cup: 2013-14 Ranji Trophy champions vs Rest of India: February 9-13.
The Col. CK Nayudu juniors' tournament will commence on October 28 and conclude on January 12 after the four-day final.
The league phase of the tournament would see the teams divided into elite and plate groups similar to what was the format for Ranji Trophy a few seasons ago.
