13:00 IST: Hello and welcome to the live blog of the fourth ODI between India and New Zealand in Ranchi.
India haven't won a bilateral ODI series since November 2014. On current form, MS Dhoni's team has the momentum to clinch the five-match ODI series against New Zealand today. Barring a six-run defeat in Delhi, India have won the Dharamsala and Mohali ODIs by emphatic margins.
New Zealand's middle-order worries have hit them hard. Tom Latham and Kane Richardson have been quite solid but the failure of key batsmen like Ross Taylor, Martin Guptill and Corey Anderson has ruined the Kiwis.
India have played the almost perfect team game in this series. The absence of Ravichandran Ashwin, Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja has been hardly felt. Kedar Jadhav's part-time off-spin and Hardik Pandya's ability to use the new ball well has given India a lot of options for the future.
Virat Kohli's amazing form and Dhoni's decision to bat early in the order have been big factors in India chasing rather stiff targets. Ajinkya Rahane has to showcase his talent as an opener before time runs out.
Kohli's last two ODI innings in Ranchi have helped India win while chasing. India's young Test captain scored an unbeaten 139 against Sri Lanka in November 2014 and 77 not out versus England in January 2013.
Ranchi usually offers a batting paradise. Williamson will hope that his luck with toss spins for the better.
