IND vs AUS 1st Test Highlights: India's stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah stole the show with the ball as Australia ended Day 1 tottering at 67/7, in response to India's first innings total of 150 in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Perth. Bumrah first took the wicket of debutant opener Nathan McSweeney, then got Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith on consecutive balls, and finally dismissed opposite captain Pat Cummins at the end of the day as well. He was complemented superbly by Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana, with the later taking his maiden Test wicket by cleaning up Travis Head. Australia took the first two sessions. But the last session by India was perhaps more devastating than both of the previous ones. What a day of cricket. What a Test match we have in store.
The scoreboard reads: Australia trail India by 83 runs, at 67/7. But count out Australia at your peril. The in-form Alex Carey is still at the crease, and Mitch Starc can certainly hold a bat. His highest Test score of 99 is against India!

No word of praise is enough for Jasprit Bumrah. A wicket at the start to get debutant McSweeney. Then two in two balls to send Khawaja and Smith packing. Bowled 6 in a row, came back and got his counterpart Cummins at the end. Scintillating. Hard to deny he's the best in the world.

When India walked off all out on 150, nobody would've imagined the day would end like this. Jasprit Bumrah led from the front with 4 wickets. Harshit Rana got Travis Head with a cracker. Siraj followed up with 2. Australia tottering, and on the brink of their lowest-ever Test total against India.
Oh we nearly had a wicket on the final ball of the day! Slower ball by Bumrah, catches Starc by surprise, Bumrah nearly got to it for a caught-and-bowled, but it falls just short.
Mitchell Starc will hit out at any opportunity to make runs now, and drives Bumrah through the off side for a beautiful 4. Bumrah comes back with a saucy bouncer.
Mitchell Starc opens his account with the bat off his ex-KKR teammate Harshit Rana's bowling. Will the two be teammates again by the time November 24 comes round?
Down the pads, Carey gets an edge and the ball streaks down for 4. Australia notch up 50 in 23.4 overs. And right after, Carey responds with a super upper cut, and picks up another boundary!
Harshit Rana replaces Siraj in the attack again. A bit of a break for the Test debutant, and now he comes in for Siraj, who bowled an excellent 6-over spell.

6 overs, 1/21 for Harshit Rana. Fiery first spell in Test cricket. Got the huge wicket of Travis Head too. He's given some loose ones, but been terrific overall.
New into the crease, Alex Carey gets off the mark with a brilliant cover drive. The outfield is slow, so it doesn't go to the boundary, but picks up 3 runs. Would be foolish to count out Australia yet, Alex Carey has been in magnificent form recently.
Super catch it is by KL Rahul at first slip. Replays show clearly fingers underneath the ball. A well-taken catch, and Mohammed Siraj gets his first wicket. Australia are five-down now, and in real danger of conceding a first innings lead.

Harshit Rana is really fired up, and throws back a blocked shot right back at the batter's stumps. Labuschagne was well inside his crease, and seems like a bit of unnecessary aggression on that occasion. But Harshit Rana seems very up for the fight.
