18.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Simple catch for Smriti Mandhana at covers and finally, this stand has been broken. Renuka Singh Thakur pitches the ball up again and just pushes it across the off stump. Brooke Halliday shimmies down the pitch and looks to go inside-out over covers but the bat turns in the hands and the ball is lobbed straight to covers. Eden Carson bowls from around the stumps, and lands a flighted one, fuller and around off, Smriti Mandhana tries to up the ante and gets on her dancing shoes to loft it over long off. She does go the pitch of the ball, but doesn't get the room and tries to overhit it and loses her shape a bit as well. 1.1 OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! A massive, massive wicket for the Kiwis and they are all pumped up and why not! Eden Carson strikes gold on the very first ball. She attacks the stumps on a fuller length, it gets a bit of a variable bounce off the deck as well. Shafali Verma looks to work it across towards the leg side and closes her bat face too early in the process. Hence, a healthy leading edge is found and it is chipped straight back to the bowler. Harmanpreet Kaur though challenges the on-field decision and goes for a review. This is bowled on a fuller length, shaping back in a touch as well, on the leg stump line, Harmanpreet Kaur walks a step across off and goes for a swipe across the line of the ball. It tails back into the batter and Kaur plays all over it, ends up wearing it on the front pad. On the UltraEdge now, it shows no bat involved and the Ball Tracking shows that the projection of the ball is clipping the leg stump on the umpire's call. 42/3

Tahuhu hurls it full from over the wicket, around off, Jemimah Rodrigues sees that mid on is inside the circle and therefore, she walks across to get it over that fielder. Does not get it anywhere close to the middle of the bat and ends up lobbing it straight to the fielder there. Maddy Green at mid on takes the simplest of catches around her face. 14.4 OUT! CAUGHT! It's like on a loop, the ball just keeps getting lobbed up and the catches keep on getting taken. Lea Tahuhu serves it on a fullish length and angles it a bit wide of the off stump. Deepti Sharma hangs back and looks to go over covers but skews it away straight to Sophie Devine on the edge of the circle and Devine takes a simple catch. Sharma's resistance ends and it seems like the end is nigh for India Women in this game. 88/7

12.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Another soft dismissal as New Zealand Women continue to chip away at the wickets. Mair hurls it full and it is the slower one, outside off, Arundhati Reddy walks across her stumps and looks to go inside out over cover. She fails to pick the change of pace and ends up spooning it off the bottom part of the bat. It goes only as far as extra cover where Suzie Bates does not have to move much to get under it and takes a safe catch. India slip further into trouble. 15.3 OUT! TIMBER! Melie Kerr joins the wickets column as well with a lovely googly. Nicely flighted, on a nagging length and around off. Pooja Vastrakar just hangs back looking to block it late but is beaten by the drift and the ball turns in late to just clip the off stump. 18.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Rosemary Mair does eventually get rid of Shreyanka Patil and she has her third wicket. This is served on a good length around off, slightly off pace as well. Shreyanka Patil leans on to lift it over mid off but skews it straight up. The substitute fielder there, Molly Penfold comes forward and takes a simple catch. New Zealand Women just one wicket away from a huge win here. 102/9
