India U19 vs South Africa U19 Highlights: India Under 19 registered a clinical 45-run victory against South Africa Under 19 in Guyana to kick-off campaign on a winning note. The India Under 19 side kept the pressure on until the very end as they overcame a tough challenge against South Africa Under 19. Skipper Yash Dhull starred with the bat and then in the field. Dhull top scored with 82 runs while left-arm spinner Vicky Ostwal took a five-wicket haul to complete a brilliant all-round display by the boys in blue. For South Africa Under 19, batter Dewald Brevis top scored with a brilliant 65-run knock. Brevis eventually departed to a brilliant front-diving catch by Dhull. Earlier, Pacer Rajvardhan Hangargekar removed Ethan John Cunningham in the first over of the innings while Vicky Ostwal dismissed Valintine Kitime to give India U19 a good start in their defence of the 233-run target.
Batting first, the India Under 19 side lost a flurry of wicket towards the end of their innings to post a total of 232 runs in 46.5 overs. Captain Yash Dhull batted calmly and top scored before being run-out for 82 runs in Match 4 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Saturday. India U19 openers Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Harnoor Singh were dismissed early as South Africa U19 started on a positive note. Dhull and Shaik Rasheed added more than 50 runs for the third wicket before the latter departed. After an enterprising knock, Nishant Sindhu also departed for 27 runs to give South Africa U19 their fourth wicket. South Africa U19 have won the toss and opted to field against India U19 after the toss was delayed earlier due to rain in Guyana. (SCORECARD)
